Pinhal da Torre is a Portuguese wine maker from Tejo Region, owned by Saturnino Cunha family, which has dedicated several generations to wine production. Pinhal da Torre owns two estates, located in Alpiarça, Ribatejo: Quinta do Alqueve and Quinta de São João. All its wine is ultimately manufactured on the latter, in a 1950s historical winery that is currently being renewed by the Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld. Pinhal da Torre uses mainly Portuguese grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Trincadeira, Castelão, Arinto and Fernão Pires, which can be combined perfectly with foreign grape varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. == International reviews == The most internationally acclaimed Pinhal da Torre’s wine brand is Quinta do Alqueve.
